Job Summary:

PikUniq, a software development company, is seeking a Junior Marketing Specialist to join their Sales & Marketing team in Stellenbosch (remote).

The primary responsibility of the Junior Marketing Specialist will be to create engaging and informative content to promote the company and its services. This role requires proficiency in visual design, marketing skills, and knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales team to develop marketing strategies.
• Manage and update the company brand book, brand collateral, signage, and visual design of website pages.
• Create and manage content for social media platforms.
• Research and create high-quality visual content for various purposes, such as featured images, case study visuals, website resources, and social media posts.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop content that showcases the company’s services.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant information into the content.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field of study, such as Multimedia, Visual Communication, Marketing, etc.
• 2+ years of experience as a Content Creator / Marketing Specialist.
• Strong interest in the software development industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
